The visit to Milestones Museum is linked to our History topic: What was life like for children in World War 2?  

Your child will need to bring a healthy packed lunch (no sweets, nuts or fizzy drinks please) and a water bottle for the day.

The Education Service at Milestones Museum suggests that dressing up in period costume greatly enhances children’s experience during the above trip and I would therefore be grateful if your child could come to school on 8^th November dressed as a World War 2 pupil – their own grey trousers and skirts will be fine, perhaps with an evacuee’s label?  

The children will be taking part in two interactive workshops and immersing themselves in what life was like for children during WW2 as well as having a chance to explore the museum in small groups.
