Faith in Action Award
At our school, we encourage children to live out their faith through kindness, service and care for others. The Faith in Action Award celebrates and recognises the many ways young people put their faith into practice by helping those around them and making a positive difference in their communities.
The award encourages children to follow the example of Jesus by serving others both within school and beyond. It provides opportunities for pupils to take part in activities that support their school, parish and local community, while reflecting on how these experiences help them grow in faith.
Throughout the programme, children explore Scripture and Catholic teaching and consider how these can be lived out through everyday actions. They are encouraged to think about the difference they make, reflect on their experiences and recognise how acts of service can strengthen their relationship with God and with others.
There are four levels of the award: Pin, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Children earn credits through acts of service in school, parish and community settings. As they progress through the award, they take part in guided discussions and personal reflections, helping them to understand how faith can inspire action in daily life.
The Faith in Action Award builds on the many ways our pupils already contribute to school and parish life. Whether supporting younger children, taking on leadership roles, helping with charitable projects, participating in liturgical activities or serving the wider community, pupils are encouraged to recognise and celebrate the impact of their actions.
The award is available for children from Year 5 and provides a meaningful way for children to deepen their faith, develop leadership skills and grow in confidence as active members of their communities.

Through the Faith in Action Award, we hope to inspire our pupils to become compassionate, responsible and faith-filled young people who live out the Gospel values in everything they do.
