Digital Leaders

Our Digital Leaders play an important role in supporting technology across the school. They are enthusiastic pupils who help others to use technology confidently, safely and responsibly, while developing their own leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Digital Leaders act as ambassadors for technology and work alongside staff and pupils to make the most of the digital resources available throughout the school. They are responsible role models who help to promote positive and effective use of technology in everyday learning.

As part of their role, Digital Leaders:

• Support learning in the classroom, helping teachers to set up equipment such as laptops, tablets and interactive displays, while also assisting their peers during computing lessons.
• Promote online safety by helping to lead assemblies, supporting activities for Safer Internet Day and encouraging children to become safe, respectful and responsible digital citizens.
• Test and evaluate new technology, including apps, software, websites and devices, providing valuable feedback before these resources are introduced more widely across the school.
• Share their knowledge and expertise with other pupils, helping to solve simple technical problems and encouraging confidence when using technology.
• Lead by example, demonstrating positive digital behaviour and helping to create a culture of safe and responsible technology use.

Through their role, our Digital Leaders develop valuable skills that prepare them for the future, while making a meaningful contribution to school life. Their enthusiasm, creativity and willingness to help others ensure that technology remains an exciting, engaging and safe part of learning for everyone.
